Lazy Day
Today I was pretty lazy. I stayed in my PJ’s all day. It was great. Jodi came over and we watched TV and laughed all day. John worked on his new endeavor – a video arcade console. Even Eric stopped by for a bit and watched football. It was a good day.
I’m feeling kind of round today. My belly has always been a little chubby, but in the last few days I’ve really noticed a difference in shape, it’s just a lot rounder. It’s just so odd that a person is going to grow in there!
On a side note…Yesterday I went to IKEA with my mom, and I just have to say how much I LOVE the As-Is department. One thing on our Before-Baby-List is a new bedroom set from IKEA in the oak color. Well, the last time I was there I found the dresser that we wanted in the right color, and for almost half the regular price! It was normally $219 and I got it for $122.90! There was nothing wrong with it, no scratches and everything worked right, it was just put together, which is GREAT. Then when I was there yesterday we found the head board that we wanted, in the right color again – and I saved just about 40%! So, if you’re ever looking for something at IKEA, go check the As-Is department, near the check out registers.
OH, and the funniest thing happened too…on the way there, we were driving on 101 and this stupid flock of pigeons went swooping down on the freeway and one of them totally ran into the front of my car, and I’m pretty sure I killed it! OMG, not to sound cruel or anything, but it was hilarious! My mom was in the front seat and I was driving and they just flew right out in front of me and made a big thump, we screamed and all these feathers flew out behind my car and there were a couple more thumps and this poor limp bird went thumping along to the side of the road. So bizarre!
